History
Insider Films, like you and I, was conceived by two parents, and has all kinds of grandparents. Adlercast Productions and On Demand Production Network (both formed in Vancouver in 2006) are a perfect marriage of business and pleasure. When Brian Adler and Martin Fisher first joined forces to launch Adlercast www.adlercast.ca, a company focused on building high quality music entertainment videos, truly considering content to be king was paramount. Throughout the Adlercast interview show (hosted by Adler), guests such as Chris Cornell, Rob Zombie, Velvet Revolver, Deftones, Lily Allen, Fall Out Boy, Weird Al Yankovich, and many more artists have raved about it, and posted the videos on their websites.
On Demand Production Network www.ODPN.ca has been a marketing force since inception, helping an incredibly diverse range of clientele to tell their stories using online documentary art. We call it "documentary art" because it's the furthest thing from what you think of when you hear those dreaded words "corporate video". ODPN has built marketing content for companies big and small, traveling the world shooting short docs that assist in investor relations, product education and biographical profiles. These two production companies gave birth to Insider Films in January of 2008.
Before launching these three companies: Adlercast, ODPN and Insider Films, Adler and Fisher worked in both TV and Radio. Separately they spent time with MTV, Much Music, City TV, Razer TV, The Beat 94.5, Extreme 107.3, XFM and Rock 101 Vancouver. Insider Films has filled its staff with crew from the world of Music Video Production, Film Production, and other national TV networks as well as from all of the above companies.
