Nathan Boey
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Nathan grew up with a video camera in his back pocket. After shooting dozens of shorts, he moved to Montreal to attend Concordia University. While studying at Concordia he discovered animation and went on to win 1st place in the National Teletoon Animation Scholarship Competition, which was judged by the renowned Ottawa International Film Festival jury. He graduated with a Major in Film Production, a Minor in Animation and his own unique hybrid style.
He then went on to direct a national spot for Nascar, as well as a series for the Bank of Hawaii. In 2009 Nathan won an ADDY award (a recognition for excellence in the advertising industry) for his Nascar spot.
Nathan continues to direct and animate for commercials, music videos and short films.
